During my time at EggBug I was tasked by the Irish production company, One Productions, to bring their two short films to life. The two films were spooky stories for ages of around 9-15. I had a great time hashing out some design concepts and ended up really falling in love with the characters.
We went through a lot of iterations to get to the final design, and once that was done we moved onto some storyboarding for the film. The storyboard were for a pitch so the client requested that they were cleaned up and ready to impress.
I also got the oppurtunity to design the main villains car. I thought it would be fun if it was a VW Beetle car that transforms into an actual bug as the story goes on.
